Top Movers — Hottest Stocks Today
The biggest movers today: gainers, losers and most-active stocks and coins — in real time with AI analysis.
What "top movers" means
This list shows the securities that moved hardest in the current session, in both directions. It is the fastest picture of what actually happened in the market today — not what is large, but what is moving.
A sharp move almost always signals new information: earnings, a regulatory announcement, a change in guidance, or an industry event. That makes this list a good starting point for the question "what happened today".
Why a stock moves sharply
The usual causes fall into three groups: something at the company itself (results, a management change, a deal), something industry-wide that moves the whole sector, or a broad market move. Telling them apart matters — a stock down 8% because its sector fell is a different story from one down 8% alone.
A quick way to check: look at the relevant theme pages. If the whole group moved together, it is an industry trend rather than a company event.
What the list does not tell you
A sharp move is neither a buy signal nor a sell signal. A stock up 12% today may keep rising or may retrace tomorrow, and the list itself carries no information about which is likelier.
What is worth checking is volume. A sharp move on heavy volume reflects broad participation; the same move on thin volume can be the result of a handful of orders.
